Quality Coordinator - AMI Imaging (1 FTE)

Summary:
The AMI Imaging Quality Coordinator coordinates delivery of high quality, customer service-oriented care. Monitors program key performance metrics and accreditation requirements. In coordination with the medical staff and department leadership, monitors quality standards of care, professional documentation, oversight and development of policies and procedures, and program certification. Uses data analytics to promote shared decision making and drives progress and performance improvement. Develops performance improvement initiatives and acts as a resource and facilitates collaboration between all health care disciplines throughout the organization and within the healthcare community. Teaches and supports the delivery of high throughput, high reliability processes for highest quality customer service and image quality. Minimum
Qualifications:
Graduate of an Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited radiology program or equivalent Montana Licensure (Radiologic Technologist) American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification, including MRI or equivalent 5 years acute care setting MRI experience. Experience with 1.5T and 3.0T MRI Experience with trauma MRI and Stroke Protocol MRI Preferred:
Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree; ISO-9001 certification/training Preferred:
Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in CT Preferred:
2 years' experience cross training in Radiologic Technology and/or CT Preferred:
Coordinator or Quality control/Safety Lead experience in Radiology, MRI, or CT Preferred:
Experience in Outpatient Imaging, customer service oriented and high throughput facility Essential Job Functions:
Performs MR exams and procedures as requested by the medical staff. Develops and maintains all protocols, guidelines and training materials for safe delivery of MRI service. Provides training of staff and supervision of all safety and quality processes and procedures. Produces and maintains in service, orientation, and safety training materials for imaging staff, nursing staff, engineering and other staff that may require entry into the secured area or magnetic field. Interacts and communicates with physicians, support staff, and other health care professionals as MRI Safety Officer to facilitate highest quality MR operations and ensure the highest level of safety in the MR environment. Ensures qualified CT technical staff through appropriate training, quality supervision, and mentoring in absence of CT supervisor. Participates in the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of the hospital quality indicators, as described in the strategic plan. Recommends MR equipment in budgeting process. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
