Responsibilities include determining the client's issue, offer possible solutions or providing follow-up as needed. May be inbound, outbound or a combination of both. Typically has a High School diploma and customer service or call center experience. Skills, include accurate documentation and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Education/Experience
o High School Diploma or GED (Typically required)
o Entry level - 2 years customer service related experience required
Responsibility level
o Exercises minimal independent judgment with direction from supervisor
Skills
o Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills (Required)
o Ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)
o Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information (Required)
o Previous experience with computer applications, such as MS Outlook or data entry software (Typically required)
Major Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Resolve customers' service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills
o Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments
o Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation
o Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions takenEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
