Job Description :
The term of this internship will be through the summer of 2014 with the option to extend an additional three months. During the summer, this position will be a full time, 40 hour per week position. In this position, the qualified candidate will join the Oriel solar simulator and lamp housings group. The primary responsibilities will be assembling and testing a mix of optical, electrical, and mechanical assemblies. This position will also be involved in helping set up and maintain an inventory control system and performing production support functions as necessary.
Job Requirements :
Education Required: Completion of Junior year towards a BS in EE, CpE, ME, IME, or Physics
Desired
Experience: Comfortable working in a high tech production environment with knowledge of basic soldering and assembly. Ability to work independently once assigned a task; ability to complete projects on time; familiarity with assembly drawings and schematicsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
