Summary:
Responsible for verification of compliance of incoming material to in-house FLIR requirements and or/external specifications and standards for optics, circuit boards, cabling, wire harnesses, PCBA's and other materials required. Responsible for identification, communication and documentation of discrepancies found of nonconforming material. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to; inspection of materials to specification, coordination of calibration events, MRB, supplier quality issues/corrective action, FAI, and process development. Additionally, as a member of QA, the technician can perform process evaluations, data analysis and be responsible for implementing corrective actions.

Responsibilities:
Learns to use professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve routine problems.
Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily found.
Ability to interpret drawings and inspect components in a supervised environment. (2 nonexempt)
Uses professional concepts and company policies to solve a variety of problems.
Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Trouble shooting ability to subassembly and component level. Can perform basic process analysis and identify opportunities for corrective action.
Ability to interpret drawings and inspect components with minimal supervision. (4 nonexempt)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Works with Materials, Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve Quality issues.
Develops processes and procedures within the Quality role.
Coordinates supplier corrective actions, FAI, and calibration.
Can perform more complex process analysis and identify and implement corrective actions.
Prepares and publishes performance metrics. (5 nonexempt)
Education:
High school degree or equivalent
AA degree in electronic technology, or equivalent
IPC-A-610 trained and/or certified.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a related high-tech/electrical industry.
Experience in an ISO certified environment and within a quality assurance function a plus.
Skills:
Microsoft Office application experience.
Familiarity with ERP Systems.
Ability to document and edit written procedures.
Experience and ability to work with small precision mechanical and optical parts.
Basic electronic component identification capability.
Ability to use measurement equipment such as microscopes, pin gauges, digital multimeters, calipers and micrometers
Ability to read and interpret basic electronic schematics and manuals
Ability to set up and use electronic test equipment
Requires a basic electronics understanding.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
