Wage: $13/hr. plus bonuses.

As a Travel Agent you will become an expert guide for our customers by helping them plan the vacation of their dreams while selling a full range of travel products and services. Customer-friendly setting and team environment. In this position, you will build relationships with your clients while serving as a consultant. In addition, you will counsel clients on all aspects of travel planning: research, literature, and assistance with documentation. You will also provide air, car, hotel, cruise, and tour reservations while offering general problem solving support to clients as they travel.

Preferred Qualifications and
Experience:
o Minimum two years travel experience with travel sales background
o Knowledge of Apollo or similar GDS program
o Thorough knowledge of US and global geography
o Formal travel school training
o CTA/CTC designation preferred, but not required
o Strong computer skills and knowledge of computer programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook as well as the ability to quickly learn and apply processing systems
o Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the telephone and through email
o Bachelor's degree preferred, high school degree or GED required
